Spring Love♡

Hello lovely lovelies, lovely friends♡ Spring, Spring, Spring 𝄞 ♫♫♪  That's the song that's being sung this last little while. It's a mellifluous song. It's a sweet song. It's a song where colours, scents and beauty are swirling and twirling in a cadent tune; here at my little place♡

As always Lady Spring has artfully daubed an explosion of colour and pattern everywhere. Giant brushstrokes of  daffodils and diminutive brush works of blues and splotches of yellow of forget-me-nots. Lady Spring, painting verdant greens here and there on trees intermingling with the colours of the blossoms. Brushstrokes of bluebells, rhododendrons, wispy diosma, irises, granny bonnets, wisteria, lilacs......each and every exquisite flower adding to the colourful cavalcade that is spring♡ 

The florist here has been strolling in the garden in the early mornings and gathering blooms to cheer her day, and home♡

All the fusion squares are finished. The blanket stitching and crochet skipping around the perimeter of each square is done. 

Because 'tis Sunday and the slow stitching party will be celebrating unhurried and meditative hand stitching, crochet, knitting, rug hooking etc etc I will continue to join the pretty fusion squares together forming the quilt. The joining of the squares by crochet is my favourite part of making a fusion quilt. Not only because the end is nigh. =)
