A Wee Woolly Finish♡

Hello lovely lovelies, lovely friends♡ I hope you are sparking sprinkles of joy in your little corner of the world. Admittedly, to find joy in this sad world can be difficult to find these days but let us try, shall we??

Lady Spring is sprinkling joy into my days. It has been a slow start to Spring, with the weather just beginning to warm up but the garden has awakened with the sculptural, bare trees of winter blossoming en masse. Metres tall trees with blossoms, blossoms, blossoms everywhere but with the wind gusts of unpredictable spring, those blossom-filled trees are but now a carpet of fallen petals. Still pretty, though.

Wee Lenox's woolly jumper is finished. I remember when you last visited I wasn't sure how the jumble of colours would work in a cohesive way but I must say I'm loving all the colours dancing together. My experiment of throwing oodles of colours together looks rather spiffy, I think. Oh, and all those scraggly woolly ends which had to be weaved in weren't as much of a chore as I thought. Sometimes, it's head down and royal proverbial up, and just do it, isn't it??  I decided to knit a cable strip and sew it to the bottom adding a bit of oomph. The blue of the cable strip and the ribbing for the sleeves set off the plethora of colours fabulously. But then, blue has a way of making everything look better. Says the lady whose favourite hue is blue. =)

Another wee woolly finished. I'll give it to Lenox in a couple of weeks; that is of course if I can prise it from Teddy's paws. =) Wee Lennox and his mummy and daddy, and sweet Riley and her mummy and daddy......and Granny and Poppy, too, will all be together in one place at the same time holidaying by the beach. Oodles of fun! Oodles of snuggles and cuddles! So, so excited!

Time for another knitted woolly to go on the needles but first, I must finish the  Christmas fusion quilt I'm stitching. I'll blanket stitch and crochet around some more squares today for Slow Sunday Sunday. There's only a few more squares left to do before I begin to join all the pretties together. I had better get a move on though, because it won't be long until I espy the benevolent old fella's shiny, black boots dangling from the chimney.

May you in your little corner of the world, and may I in mine, sprinkle a little joy and kindness today♡ Some flowers for thee?? 'Tis irises and granny bonnets dancing in the garden at the moment♡ Flowers bring me joy♡ You, lovely lovelies, bring me joy♡   May sprinkles of joy find you this lovely day♡

Until the next time......
