"Love is patient, love is kind.
Love does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
Love does not dishonour others,
it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Love always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love."
Not my words......but God's. Truly, since the dawn of time, one of the most beautiful, life changing and inspiriting biblical passages ever penned. Oh, what a difference I could make to my little corner of the world, if I, in my own small way, breathed these words, living them every moment of every day.
May you all have the loveliest of Valentine's Days. May you dance, with much love, through your day!
Until the next time.........

DeleteBeautiful post! We surely must try to live these words every day. The pastor's sermon at the boys' opening service for school this year was based on these verses. It was such a lovely opening for the year, talking about God's love for us and how we should all mirror that in our love for others. Have a blessed day on your lovely country drive with your sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteWhat a LOVEly post! The roses are so pretty! Happy Valentines to you and your hubby!
ReplyDeleteI just adore that verse Kim ... Corinthians I am sure it is. It has been my favourite for a very long time. I read it out at my sons wedding & could not get through it without choking up with tears. It says it all really. Happy Valentines Day to you my friend x x
