Every time I look at her stitcheries they make me smile as they are filled with many sweet memories. I don't have many heirlooms of hers, so this is special. I've gotten myself into hot water when taking classes because I always want to change-up things!! :) Having handwork to do in the car is most definitely a splendid reason for beginning something new. Can't wait to see what you design - you sure do have a good start on things. My grandmother was a master crocheter and when things were dissipated after her death, many of the damaged items were sent to the sale. Oh, how I wish I had those items in my stash even though I'm tickled pink that I've got a nice array of things she made and which I use constantly.
